YouTube: identify the viewing request.

Clarify channel-as-creator versus channel-as-live-TV terminology before offering setup advice.

Keep the identity precise.

YouTube is described here as a video platform; distinct from YouTube TV. It is a reference subject, separate from the StarShare subscription, player application and your actual account.

  • The YouTube app and YouTube TV app/service are separate identities.
  • A YouTube creator channel, individual upload and scheduled live stream are different references.
YouTube

Three useful questions.

  1. Do you mean a creator's YouTube channel or the YouTube TV service?
  2. What is the exact video or live-stream title?
  3. Have you identified the publisher's own channel rather than a similarly named uploader?

Keep the exact work and edition with your request. For a film, include its title and year where known; for a series, add the season and episode. State dialogue and subtitles separately instead of assuming that an interface-language choice supplies a dubbed edition.

A platform storefront, app and paid membership can have different access conditions. The identifying artwork here does not bundle that separate membership into StarShare or establish current catalogue availability.
