Peacock: identify the viewing request.

Use the actual programme or event identity instead of treating a provider logo as a content description.

Keep the identity precise.

Peacock is described here as a NBCUniversal streaming service. It is a reference subject, separate from the StarShare subscription, player application and your actual account.

  • Peacock is a streaming-service identity rather than the name of every linear NBCUniversal television feed.
  • A film/series request and a live-event request require different programme identifiers.

Three useful questions.

  1. Are you naming the Peacock app or a particular television channel?
  2. Which title, episode or sports event do you mean?
  3. Is the requested item live coverage, a full replay or an edited highlight?

Keep the exact work and edition with your request. For a film, include its title and year where known; for a series, add the season and episode. State dialogue and subtitles separately instead of assuming that an interface-language choice supplies a dubbed edition.

A platform storefront, app and paid membership can have different access conditions. The identifying artwork here does not bundle that separate membership into StarShare or establish current catalogue availability.
