StarShare viewing guide: China

Plan the language, programme identity, local time and device questions for your China viewing enquiry.

Choose the intended China clock reference instead of inferring from a city label

The timezone data contains both Asia/Shanghai and Asia/Urumqi records. Their dated examples differ: 18:00 UTC on 7 November 2026 gives 02:00 on 8 November for Shanghai and midnight for Urumqi. These are location-based civil-time records, not a legal statement about which clock a particular broadcaster uses. Ask which announced clock the event listing follows and preserve that convention. Chinese-language requests also need an actual spoken-track or subtitle preference; the country reference does not choose between every language or regional edition represented in the source data.

A practical enquiry

Keep these choices separate.

  1. Exact programme, channel/feed or title edition.
  2. Spoken audio and subtitles, stated independently.
  3. Viewing city and the programme’s date.
  4. Actual device model, operating system and player.

A capital reference is Beijing. Use your actual viewing location rather than assuming every resident follows the capital’s setup.

Dated time reference

One UTC instant, local viewing times.

The table converts 7 November 2026 at 18:00 UTC using IANA 2026f. Location records are not a count of distinct current offsets. Seasonal rules can change the conversion on another date.

Enter a dated UTC start time to calculate a local viewing time.

The interactive calculation uses your browser’s time-zone rules. If it cannot recognise a location, use the dated table and the actual broadcaster schedule.

Prepare the app and test your shortlist.

Confirm the correct app for your actual model, install it and contact StarShare through WhatsApp to request the one-day free trial. Test the source, language options and controls that matter to you. A manufacturer image does not establish compatibility for the current account.

  • What spoken track and subtitle language are actually required?
