Applies to: A subset of a channel group has programme information while another subset does not.

The useful distinctions

  • A channel group is a presentation category, not proof of one guide identity.
  • Coverage can differ between services.
  • A representative comparison can be useful without sharing a complete account list.

Look for a pattern that can be described safely

Partial programme coverage is more informative than the statement that “everything is missing”. Choose a small number of clearly identified examples and inspect the same date window. Keep one unaffected service as a comparison when possible. A group label alone does not establish that every entry shares one guide source or identity rule, so avoid assuming that the category itself explains the difference. The first goal is to describe the boundary accurately.

Keep the sample small and explicit

Record the complete service names, regional or numbered suffixes and the dates checked. The sample should illustrate the problem, not expose a household’s whole viewing catalogue. If the affected entries share a genuine known source context, include that approved context without its private access address. If no such relationship has been established, say so. A pattern in a few examples supports a focused investigation, not an unsupported claim about every unseen service.

Hypothetical worked example

At the same 18:00–20:00 window on 8 November 2026, fictional Harbor East and Harbor West have no programme titles, while Meadow News does. The viewer records those three observations and retains the regional suffixes. That evidence is enough to ask about a partial-coverage pattern. Publishing hundreds of unrelated account entries would add exposure without answering which of these named services and dates need checking.

A focused way to proceed

  1. Choose two clearly identified affected services and one unaffected comparison.
  2. Record the same dated viewing window for all three.
  3. Send the small comparison without the full playlist or account catalogue.

When to stop or ask for help

Provide a representative affected/unaffected comparison and ask support to investigate the documented scope.
